Born in Belgium, the multilingual crossroads of Western Europe, Myriam-Rose immigrated to the United States at age 17. Four short years later, she graduated Cum Laude with a double major in French and German-all while working 52 hours a week. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in French and raised her two sons after whom she later named JEDA Enterprises.

Located in Southern California, Myriam-Rose launched JEDA Enterprises in 1986 to offer career and translation services. She has also taught business writing in corporations and is a professor at California State University, Northridge. Myriam-Rose's vibrant background even includes an assignment with the FBI on an international fraud case.

A consummate professional who is devoted to honing her craft, Myriam-Rose quickly developed a reputation in the careers industry as the expert in international résumés. Myriam-Rose wrote Creating a Résumé for Foreign Markets and contributed to Five Tips for Writing CVs For Overseas Employers for Wall Street Journal's CareerJournal.com. Her work is also featured in more than 25 résumé and cover letter books. She has spoken at numerous industry conferences and is on the National Certification Board of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches. She is also a member of the National Résumé Writers Association, Career Masters Institute, and the Career Planning and Adult Development Network. Translation-related professional affiliations include the American Translators Association and the Southern California Translators and Interpreters Association (Executive Board Member).
